Velcoffer Legend Raid Guide (2019)




Entry 5x every week. 

Open dungeon interface in the game to view remaining entries.Leave & reentry available. Run is not consumed. Use this feature to refresh buffs and repair equipment. To prevent full raid reset keep 1 party member inside at all times. 

Raid Cave debuff 
Upon entry a debuff is placed on each character. 
Acidic cave environment causes erosion. The debuff cannot be removed. 

Debuff stacks every few seconds, up to 100 stacks. At every 100 stacks, your entire party receives a knockback and knockdown effect. Each 100 stacks also turn into 1 big debuff stack. 

1 big debuff stack: no effect.
2 big debuff stacks: 2500 damage received every 3 seconds.
3 big debuff stacks: 5000 damage received every 3 seconds.
4 big debuff stacks: 7500 damage received every 3 seconds.
The damage by this debuff is not reduced by defence.

Soul Crystal count

Soul crystal usage is possible inside the Raid. Soul crystal use count is shared with each party member. Max soul crystal usage: 5x. Use soul crystals to revive.

Mob despawn

Mobs inside the raid do not despawn even when you clear a stage. Characters must be careful when they leave&reenter the raid. All remaining mobs attack you when you walk towards your party.

Explanation Stage A

1.Ignore small dragons (HP: 1.5 mil).
2.Destroy middle crystal with 500 hits.
3.Destroy the 5 statues (14 mil HP each).
Dragon mob information:
Dragon move speed is high.
Dragon spawn amount is high.
Dragons are immune to freeze.
Dragons may get knocked. 

Common Clear tactics:

Tactic1. Crowd control on dragons, then focus on object destruction.
Tactic2. Let dragons swarm and use high AoE multi hit skills without AoE-limit to damage objects and dragons simultaneously.
Tactic3. High dealer or taunt lures dragons away. Remaining members focus on objects.

Explanation Stage B

1.ignore small Tala mobs.
2.defeat big elites. A special red crystal spawns when they are defeated. Collect the crystal with spacebar.
3.character which collected the crystal must move to the altar. Space bar on the altar to charge the crystal. The altar is on a 20s cooldown.
4.Move to the stone gate and charge for 10 seconds. Your charge will fail if you receive damage during the 10 seconds. The stone gate itself sometimes randomly deals damage to cancel your charging. 
Repeat until the stone gate is destroyed.

Mob information:

Elite mobs are immune to knocks and immune to freeze. 
The elite mobs are not immune to linker skills.

Tip: Use invisibility skills to stay safe during step 4 to charge the stone gate.


Explanation Stage C

1.Ignore small wyvern summons
2.Defeat boss. Boss uses many movement skills to attack. This boss is flying.

Mob information:

Wyvern type A: immune to Physical and Missile attacks.
Wyvern type B: immune to Elemental and Magic attacks.

Boss caution:

Boss uses vacuum skill when it flies up high. Vacuum skill pulls players and deals a lot of damage.
Inflicts AoE stone curse debuff every minute.

Tip: lure the boss near the wall to counter the movement skills.

Explanation Stage D
1.ignore plant mob and ignore dragon mob.
2.lure bird mob to the statue.
3.kill the bird mobs so they explode to damage the statue.
4.Statue dies to reveal a teleport magic circle. Use it to teleport to the final boss.

Statue information: statue is immune to damage and debuffs. 

Bird information: explosion deals damage to players. Bird leash range is short, use knockback skills to move birds to the statue or use Taunt skills. Birds are not immune to crowd control effects.
Plant info: plants apply sleep, stun and knockback debuffs. Use dispellers or immunity skills. 
Tip: destroy the plants if your party is without crowd control immunity skills.

Clear method:

Method1. Lure bird mobs to the bridge, use knockback skills to move birds to the statue. Kill birds quickly before they move away. Video
Method2. Use taunt to get birds to the statue. Use crowd control skills to keep them at the statue. Kill birds.

Rebuff and Repair
You may switch turns with party members to leave, go repair&rebuff, and reenter the Raid. Equipment durability might be low after the Gargoyle boss battle and Stage D. Act quick to avoid time-out. 
Tip: party members should enter raid map and wait at entrance after repair & rebuff. Remaining members in front of Boss Room must activate Velcoffer movie scene to teleport all party members to Velcoffer boss.

Boss caution:

Periodically after each 33% HP lost Velcoffer jumps and inflicts a wide area stun followed by homing dragon meteors to quickly kill players, and then flies to become immune to damage. 
Move into the safe zone to avoid the initial stun. Safe zone lights up when Velcoffer charges the attack.
Velcoffer ascends and 4 lesser dragons are summoned. You must defeat all small dragons to get Velcoffer to descend. Flying Velcoffer keeps shooting meteors at players.
Small dragon HP: 18 mil each.
Avoid the Velcoffer meteors by moving around a lot. 
Every 33% HP lost Velcoffer enters a new stage. Stage 1, stage 2, stage 3 final stage. New stages increase damage and stats.


Tip: Velcoffer boss takes 30-40 minutes for a weak party or bad play. When you are too slow just leave and try another run. Do not waste time trying to kill the boss.

Team preparation

Bring 1 healer with Priest.
Bring 1 tank or utility.
Tank: peltasta rank or high dealer to keep aggression. Keep boss facing away from party.
Bring 3 dealers. 

Preparation before entry Use squire food, pardoner buffs, bring HP elix-potion. Bring dispellers or miko dispellers. Skill scrolls optional.
Recommendation for player with low confidence or first try:
HP minimum: 80'000. 
Def minimum: 8000~10'000
Attack minimum: 10'000. To ensure clear before time out. 
Experienced players with good dodging ability:
HP minimum to 50'000, def minimum 7000.
